Welcome to our vendor page. The purpose of this page it so tell you about our company and some of our purchasing policies.

Medics Ambulance Service is one of the largest privately owned Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Services Agencies in the State of Florida. We operate a combined total of 80 ambulances and employ over 400 EMT’s and Paramedics throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. All purchasing decisions are made through the corporate office in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Services are provided 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. When offering support services, vendors are expected to be available at any time on any day. Other than emergency repairs, all onsite work must be performed at night and / or on the weekends. Service vendors are expected to provide priority service to the company especially in the aftermath of a hurricane.

To control expenses, ensure quality of service, and secure limited resources in times of emergency, we often negotiate long term contracts for essential services. Based on lessons learned and various trials, we are not accepting any offers from new telecommunications service providers – whether landline or wireless. All landline services are coordinated through a communications consultant familiar with both our needs and the capabilities of each carrier. At this time, we are not speaking to or working with any landline carriers directly.

Due to an overwhelming amount of sales calls each day and an increase in scams, Medics Ambulance Service has a new policy that all new vendors must submit their credentials via our website prior to being considered for any sales. Once your information is submitted, it will be reviewed and distributed to the appropriate department manager(s) responsible for purchasing your products and services. They at their discretion may choose to contact you for additional information.

We are not seeking vendors for the folllowing areas:

  • Two-Way Radio Services / Vehicle Tracking
  • Copy Machines and Document Imaging
  • Computers / IT Products and Services

If you do not hear from us, it probably means that we do not have a need for your product or service at this time. We will keep all submitted information on file. When we are in need of a new product or service or need to make a purchase in excess of $5,000, we often seek competitive bids. At that time, we will contact all applicable credentialed vendors.
